The Beginning of Aviation

Aviation strictly meaning, planes, first began with the Wright brothers in 1903. On December 17, 1903 Orville and Wilbur Wright were able to fly roughly around 12 seconds in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. The plane was called the “Flyer I”. The Flyer I had a variable-camber twin canard, and a rudder. The roll is controlled by warping the wings. Then, on January 1, 1914,  a person by the name of Glenn Curtiss was able to design a plane that was able to land and take off on water. sDWf2BvfBFXzN6QvDzcd3uZQ
